Sandy Edmonstone

Mr. Edmonstone is the President and CEO of Incana Capital, a private investment firm focused on delivering superior risk-adjusted returns. He is an independent businessman with over 25 years of investment banking and investment management expertise. Previously, he was an Executive Director and Deputy Head of Global Oil & Gas within the Macquarie Group. In this global financial institution, he oversaw the strategic direction and management of the Global Oil & Gas Group.

 

Mr. Edmonstone is a CFA charterholder, holds the ICD.D designation, and earned a Master of Finance degree from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan. He currently serves as Chair of Calgary Co-op, Chair of Care Pharmacies, Chair Emeritus of the Board of Trustees of the Calgary Health Foundation, and Chair of the Board of the Calgary Canucks Junior A Hockey Club. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Siksika Group of Companies and is a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board for the University of Calgary Cumming School of Medicine. Mr. Edmonstone previously served as Vice Chair of Alberta Health Services and sat on the board of the CFA Society Calgary. He is a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal in recognition of his contributions to the community and public service.
